Judges thoughts- Nigel Lythgoe: amazing contemporary dancers and choreographer, you are the ultimate male and female dancers this year; Mia Michaels: stunning, gorgeous, amazing connection; Adam Shankman: so honest and real, intimate, embodied everything it was supposed to be.

Blogger’s thoughts: I completely agree with the judges. I absolutely LOVE this piece. These two dancers are by far my favorites in Season 7 and I was exstatic they were the top two. Kent Boyd is beyond precious, but also a terrific dancer in every style. Girls are obviously swooning over this cute, blond-haired, and blue-eyed teenage boy and to top it off, he can dance! Lauren is the same way by being able to do every style successfully. This season was incredible and I would definately suggest watching specifically this season. I can’t wait until next season!

Season 5- 2009 (Summer)

Jeanine Mason, Season 5 winner

A contemporary dancer from Miami, Florida.

Jeanine Mason and Jason Glover dance a contemporary dance to “If It Kills Me” by Jason Mraz. Choreographed by Travis Wall, the first time he choreographed on this show. The storyline is of two best friends that had been holding their love back and finally letting it out.

Judges thoughts on “If It Kills Me”: Nigel Lythgoe: “that was just beautiful,” both of you are stars tonight; Mary Murphy: lost for words, “you two are staaaars!”; Debbie Allen: the piece is brilliant, “a magical pairing”, “bravo!”

Jeanine Mason and Philip Chbeeb do a hip-hop routine to “Mad” by Ne-Yo. Choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo. The storyline is of a couple that is mad at each other but can’t go to sleep angry.

Judges thoughts on “Mad”: Adam Shankman: “that was un-freakin-real”; Mary Murphy: agree completely with adam; Nygel Lythgoe: fabulous, brilliant, well done

Blogger’s thoughts: These two dances are trully unforgetable and unbelievably good. I get chills watching them. I really liked season 5 because there were so many different styles presented in the contestants.
